The non invasive Nd:YAG laser treatment of wrinkles and skin ageing, stimulates a responsive restorative process in the papillary dermis. 3 - 6 follow up visits are recommended at 2 – 4 week intervals. Wrinkles will continue to vanish over 6 – 12 months after the initial treatment as the natural rejuvenation process takes course.
Pigmented cutaneous lesions result from the presence of melanin containing cells (melanocytes) in the epidermis and/or the dermis. Sun spots (solar lentigines) are a result of excessive ultraviolet exposure, areas such as the face, dorsal hands and anterior chest are commonly affected. The number of treatments to fade pigmented lesions will depend on the depth of colour of the lesion and the desired outcome of the client. Usually 4 - 6 treatments 2 – 4 weeks apart will show a significant fading.
The Fotona QX MAX Q-switched nanosecond laser’s light energy is so powerful and so pure that it has the ability to penetrate into the deeper lying pigments. It will lighten or remove the most complex, multi coloured tattoos without damaging the outer layer or surrounding skin.
The number of treatments required to either remove or fade a tattoo is extremely variable. It will depend on the age of the tattoo, the ink used, the depth and thickness of the tattoo and also the location of the tattoo. At Gippsland Laser Clinic, we use a cooling system to assist with skin comfort before, during and following a treatment.
The Nd:YAG laser has the depth of penetration necessary to reach even the deepest hair follicles without causing any collateral damage to the skin. At Gippsland Laser Clinic we can treat dark hairs on your face, neck, underarms and bikini area. Once a hair follicle has been treated, it will not grow another hair.
Permanent hair reduction treatments are performed 2 – 4 weeks apart. The number of treatments required is variable. Arrange an appointment today to begin a new life that is shaving, plucking, waxing or bleaching free.
Haemoglobin is the primary target of the Nd:YAG laser light. As the energy is absorbed by the blood in the vessel, heat is created and the vessel wall will be destroyed. Eventually, the blood vessel recedes and the body’s natural processes clear away the blood vessel tissue in the same way a bruise is cleared over a period of days to a couple of weeks. Generally blood vessels with a diameter of up to 4mm can be treated.
Larger vascular areas may require more treatments to reach a desirable result, whereas smaller broken capillaries may only need a couple of treatments. Treatments are performed 2 – 4 weeks apart.
Nd:YAG laser light delivers deep, pulse-profile heating of the nail bed that stimulates the killing of parasitic fungus. The natural growth and immune processes of the body are then able to restore the nail to its pristine state. Compared to traditional methods, the effects of laser light evenly spread throughout the tissue are not subject to either; the limits of chemical diffusion with topicals, or the induction of hepatoxic side effects with oral medications.

I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my tattoo removal. Jill was extremely professional and made sure my comfort was her top priority. I would most definitely recommend her services. Thank you Jill.
My tattoo removal was a very comfortable experience. Jill is very professional and has a lot of knowledge about what she is doing and made it bearable for me.
What a tremendous experience! Jill has been amazing throughout the process of my tattoo removal. Jill was thorough with the treatment plan, we discussed expectations and the final result being better than what I could have imagined. My tattoo was a mistake from my youth and I have bared the horror of it for over 20 years. It would be a stretch to say its removal has been life changing, but it has change how I feel about myself along with how I dress. With the process being so simple, quick and relatively pain free, why didn't I do this sooner. Thank you for your professionalism and non judgement of my poor decision making from my youth.
